At There Be Skulls, we want you to be happy with your order. Most items may be returned within 30 days of delivery as long as they are unused, in the same condition received, and in the original packaging when possible.
This policy applies to eligible returns for damaged items, defective items, incorrect items, and customer-choice returns.
Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Returned within 30 days of delivery
- Unused and in the same condition received
- In the original packaging when possible
- Accompanied by proof of purchase or your order number
Items must be returned before a refund can be issued unless otherwise arranged with us.
Non-Returnable Items
Some items cannot be returned, including:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable products
- Intimate or sanitary goods
- Hazardous materials
- Flammable liquids or gases
- Items clearly marked as final sale on the product page

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to confirm whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 3–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error, a defective item, an incorrect item, or an item damaged during shipping.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or the return is due to our mistake.
For higher-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Exchanges
We replace items if they are defective, damaged, incorrect, or if an exchange is approved before the item is returned.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at:
Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging when possible. We will review the issue and help make it right.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank or credit card account again.
Then contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take additional time before your refund is officially posted.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you may receive store credit for the value of the returned item once the return is received and approved.
If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves, the refund will be sent to the original purchaser.
